Biography
Keishia Treber is an independent artist who is best known for her Canadian inspired Landscape and Tree Paintings. With her originals as the soul of creation K.Treber has expanded into: fine art prints, textured art cards, handmade rustic wooden frames, hand drawn wood stump ornaments/magnets/candle holders, along with curating various artisan gift boxes with a natural forest feel.
Born and raised in the small town of Revelstoke, BC, Keishia has called Kamloops home after completing her fine arts diploma at TRU in 2008. Soon after she hit the ground running creating large custom paintings for clients, and developing her own artistic style. Keishia’s work often resembles scenery from the surrounding area in BC, however during her creative exploration she has painted the female figure, and animals with many different mediums - specifically watercolors, acrylic on canvas and painting onto stained wood.
As K.Treber’s art career developed her practice evolved solely into Canadian Tree Landscapes and Stylized Animal Paintings, featuring an organic, simple - yet intricate feminine design. Keishia continues to create art in her home studio in Kamloops, BC where she loves juggling life and art with her two toddlers, husband, and kitty. Having the pleasure to sell her artworks online, at events, and wholesale to boutiques has been a blessing for her family in countless ways, and now more than ever to be home with her children anytime! … Time is fleeting!
